if I'm not mistaken those are over 10 stones (stealing weight) and there is a fix in place to stop people from stealing from recent trades/canceled trade windows. As long as you don't accept checks in a bag, you should be okay.

Agreed with Jack of Shadows, if the item is over 10 stones, it cannot be stolen and with cheques it is about the safest trade you can make.

If you are really worried about thieves/scamming, place the item on a vendor as it is impossible to get scammed that way, just make sure your vendor has enough cash!
