Hi all, So today i woke up andnoticed all my accounts were conn lost. I log back and notice something is wrong in my back room. I check my boxes and notice they are empty ... I m wondering who was able to acces my CY and how? I own this keep since more than 3 years and nothing disapeared during this time. How comes u went there after 3 years? I m sad u stole my collection of cupid cloak :/ I love pink and will pay to get them back! 1 Gp/cloak! See u!
Is it possible someone accessed your in-game account? If someone had logged on to your account, and selected the character you had logged in, you would get booted off, I believe. Therefore, if someone accessed all of your accounts, they would cause you to lose conn. Has your account information been compromised, to the best of your knowledge? If it's at all possible, you may want to change your passwords.
Just on the first bit - I lost conn on all three accounts overnight too, so that may be unrelated to the rest of the issue.
El Horno, how u know about my username and PW ... Seriously, i dont think my accounts are compromised, only a little part of the keep was looted (the one not protected behind table ...). I'm just curious why they came so many years after i bought it.
Maybe there was a rune to the CY in a house that recently fell. Maybe moats are coming soon and they wanted to loot the CY while still possible. Who knows :\ Always assume the CY is compromised
This happens just as @BlackEye returns...and warns about house security? Excuse me, but I do not believe in coincidences.
I am macroing all the time in Ocllo. That's what you get when you delete all toons. -.- Oh btw, no CY is safe. I joined the Shard too late for this CY rune game, but I know that certain groups (long time IDOCers for example) collected a lot of them over the years. Or you opened a gate once to the CY and it got marked? Mistakes are done all the time. :0
One more thing to consider: Real thieves usually take full responsibility and are proud of their steals. If nobody shows up with screens, a tale or a ransom offer, it probably wasnt one of the more known thieves.
I had thought my CY was secure for years too and then two vets looted what I had left unsecure in my CY. It happens and it teaches you a lesson to assume you can be looted at anytime. I was able to find out one of the two guys who looted me from my journal. It took about a year or two to finally find out who the second guy was. Typically house looting stays hush hush unless it's a notorious thief who thrives on telling the story here on the forums.

Is there a revenge tale somewhere in Salty Dog which details how this detective work earned you eventual satisfaction against the CY looters, or did you just want to know for knowledge's sake? *hopes for the former*
