Hi, I've read the last Patch Notes and found a section regarding changes to the Strandedness System: Somehow, the new mechanics seem to be overreacting a little. I logged out with the first char on a boat. Sailed around on the boat a little with the second char. The first char died and I wanted to res him. Stopped the boat and logged in with the first char again. First char appeared in some town docks - meeeeh !! Is that how it's supposed to work ? I remember being able to log in on a boat after it's been moved ...
This has always been the case. If you log out on a boat and the boat moves, your character logs back in on the nearest landmass. Not sure how the new patch affects this but to my knowledge logging off on a boat that moved after always moved you to land. Most annoying is fishing with 3 on the boat and one disconnects, you notice a minute too late and its a pain in the ass to get him back on.
Truff!! This patch affects now only being transported to certain areas. I once was moved to inside a castle's CY. I think that when I reported that to Tela, he took a good look at where you'd be sent.
Oh no That's not very realistic. Last time I was on a cruise and logged out in the evening, I was still on the ship the next morning even though the ship did move ...
The ship moved after the character logged off? (Remember that there is a 5 minute wait to log off if you are not at home or in an inn/tavern). Try to recreate this because it should not be possible. Maybe Tela will give you a reward
If you log a player out on a ship (and he has timed out) moving the ship will not move the timed out player. (if this was the case, it would be extremely easy to break into other players boats) We also didn't change the mechanics of the strandedness system, only the places that it will send you. No more situations like you illustrated with it sending your character into the middle of a jungle in T2A. Now it simply sends you to the nearest docks.
