I think they went in a trade, but could have been sold. They most certainly came from either me or Les Claypool though as we were the only ones to make any dyed pairs of them. ;P
Brilliant idea you had back then @ Blaise and Les. I only own a pair of un-dyed vendor sandals. This sale here is a really rare opportunity.
I got a lot of flack back then for being heavy on crafting sandals and buying up leather dye tubs at the time. Administration made it perfectly clear WELL BEFORE the patch that disallowed dying of sandals, so everyone who had a mind to get on board, pretty much did. The only thing Les and I kept our mouths shut about were dying the named Vendor Sandals and the one pair of Lep sandals that Les dyed red. That was something we figured anyone who thought about it a bit, might come up with on their own. No such luck for them though. Cheers.
pretty sure blaise has taken a good 3-4 mil from me out of his earlier-years sandal tubbings. Hell Les is up there too!
Yeah I remember that Telamon was very clear on how the sandal change would occur, lots of people (Myself included) during that period went crazy dying masks/sandals before it was patched out.
I dyed a bunch of stuff hours before the patch. Unfortunately... I gave most of the invul orc helms to SJ for a "project"
