back on the uosa shard you could craft wedding rings with a diamond and they were auto- newbied. patch notes 3/28/99 . tinkering 41.8 skill. link: http://web.archive.org/web/19991116063808/uo.stratics.com/tink.htm
my friend brought this to my attention, and i think its a great idea to bring that feature here.
also another idea my friend mentioned was a veil. once the wedding begins the bride could wear a blessed veil. it can be an existing artwork like the bonnet or the floppy hat as the base. (i didnt really agree with the other hat... floppy hat would look better)

Would you also allow for gay marriage? Could we have a Red Wedding? Female Cowboy Hat? Is this the West or Britannia? Can we have tea time and crumpets? Could we all go over to your place and play dress up?

Yes to weddings, all equal, no gender relevance.

    No to veils, gtfo.

Yes to all player crafted jewelry being newbied.

I think that the impact of blessed wedding rings/bands would have zero effect on how the game is played. Let alone has zero relevance to having an unfair advantage against someone unwed (unless you get discounting stable rates due to marriage etc.) I vote yes to this!

And really? already issues on WHO getting married? Let anyone get married. as long as i can marry a mongbat. Her name is Shirley and we enjoy tea time and roaming together.

Also if you get married your house automatically gets a small addition with 1 secure and 3 lockdowns labelled "the Doghouse" used as the semi-permanent bedroom for the groom....

This is a wedding on Siege back in the diz-ay. Godric and I are in there. I'm the guy who screams DIE! then dies.
