If you have a couple of spare slots you could recreate his characters still standing there too.

HAHA wow! This reminds me of when I had a boat decay out from under me while I was standing on it. Was actually sailing, then everything stopped and the boat disappeared. Took me a sec to figure out what happened. I was too far from the Hold to save anything in it. I was still a new player though, so I didn't have anything really valuable in it.
