I played for like 2 weeks last year and then my pc died. never bothered to install uor again.
anyway, I just reinstalled and was hoping if there are any kind souls out there who wouldn't mind donating some stuff to me. marked runebooks, gold, a house.

I'm still stuck in occlo (holy crap, it's crowded here). I'm hoping to movin on up, to east brit. soon. yeah.

    Thank you for your time.

Also, contact @ReZon for access to temporary new player housing until you can get a place of your own.

@EcCrohol - you should be ashamed. Just play the damn game. If you don't enjoy the early stages of UO, you're not a real fan of the game.

Handouts, donations, and gifts ruin the new-player experience and overall enjoyment of this glorious pixelated sandbox.

You're right. I have reconsidered accepting handouts and will work my way up on this server!

Thank you everyone for offering me help.

also, how do I leave young status and occlo? I want to get to destard and ride those dragons!

nm, I just saw the freesist thread Q&A (Type [young in game)
this free resist event is better than any handout!

    UOR is best bro

You can also just leave Ocllo and you will lose Young status. Hit that moongate
You can have 3 accounts so put 2 into resist and play the 3rd or something.

good job on opting out of handouts. Plenty of folks here would help you in a heartbeat, but you really do lose out on the beginning experience which in turns keeps people playing as well. It's easier to give up on other peoples time/gold, but harder when its your own time/gold. plus, it brings back the very beginning days and memories that we all loved so much, and makes everything you get much more satisfying.
