after running over and over in dungeons looking for ppl to pk i noticed that one develops a special skill for dungeon slalom and speed and pks sometimes start sort of racing each other out of boredom. I thought it could be amusing to organise pvp races in dungeons, as in everything is allowed - walling, fighting etc while running through... I don’t know if it’s ever been attempted before? You could have qualifying laps where the best ‘lap times’ are selected for a knockout stage where ppl go in bunch of 4s or something - in tournament form? I’d love to see who can run the fastest through the entire of covetous!! Each dungeon would present their own challenges and risks, like traps and walling in covetous, perhaps mobs in destard where a system could be put in place where contestant would need to go double click a stone right in the middle of dangerous spawn to spice things up etc. Also the competition could be widened to guild relay with 4 contestant going one after another on the same circuit and time being recorded. Also faction races with silver and kill points? What are your thoughts? If there were nice prices or statues would ppl be interested in this? I am kind of way too unorganised to set this up frankly but I love the idea so just putting it out there!!
Nah bro. Streaking Destard is where it’s at. Run naked and unmounted from entrance to the VERY back wall and back. Whoever makes it the farthest wins.
I guess that forcing the races to be ON FOOT would be even more amusing - although most ppl are used to their rhythm and trajectories on a horse - but if that meant they are more likely to get aggroed and dumped on by the mobs then yeah! Also for instance going all the way down do destard 3, jumping teleporter (after having to run around ancient wyrm) and having to run all the way up deceit - will you attempt the telekinesis / teleport jump and risk being killed? or just run through the spectres? Or run around the despise champ while the spawn is up 10 times while fighting.
