Cupid is Back! A Renaissance Holiday Event

    Cupid and Psyche, who are happily married, visit the city of Britannia. Whilst visiting some notable location nearby, their room is ransacked by the notorious thief BlackEye and Cupid's many love letters to Psyche are stolen.

    Sensing that these letters are of great value, BlackEye takes the letters and buries them deep within the ground out in the wilderness. Cupid in his fury unleashes his army of minions to find these letters and return them to him. These minions spare no one in their quest, as they scour the lands of Britannia. How will we defeat Cupid and his evil army? Rumor has it, some of his more deadly soldiers carry the means to summon him. They carry scrolls of such power that Cupid himself can be summoned to his altar and destroyed.

    Event Details
    • Hunting Style Event
    • Search the world for Cupid's archers which could drop
    • New Champion Spawn Active (Cupid)
    • Earn various common, uncommon, rare, extremely rare valentines day themed items
    • Compete for mystery prizes based on event performance.
    • Find a whispering rose or valentines card, add give them to your valentine!

    Event Bestiary

    Note: Bonus prizes to be announced at the end of the event. Needless to say, the best path might not be the obvious path.

    Just for future reference, you could have just put the letters in your bank box, Black Eye. No safer spot.

    Shouldn't this really be about capturing Blackeye and delivering him to Cupid? I mean if Cupid kills him or keeps him as a love slave forever, either way the letters' location stays a secret.

    I mean it's not very likely that a thief as notorious as Blackeye would entrust the location of the letters to anyone, as I doubt he trusts anyone other than himself, so turning him over to Cupid would probably be the most expeditious means of having him call off his army of love-chuckers.

    PS: All you need is love. But a little Cupid slaughtering now and then doesn't hurt.

    um... it's a 5 day event, mang. You got options.

    What you need to do is let her know how much it would mean to you for her to pamper you on this special day of love by bringing you drinks, snacks, and so forth while you play UO.
    Or... wouldn't it be romantic if she joined you in game. Shared interests, etc...

    That is why our holiday events are always a bit longer than usual, get in the quality time with your significant other/family/etc then back to the event.

    Im assuming you mean masks or sandals? Last year there were no sandals that dropped, only the battle mask. It looks as though if there is a battle mask it will be that nice looking purple as can be seen from the pic.

    The clothing hues last year were a dye tub hue and I would assume it will be the same this year.

    Perhaps more cool goodies will be given out at the end like christmas.
