Crafting Guilds

I have encountered a minor problem. Several weeks back, I joined the Mage's Guild with my mage. It cost me 500 gold. This entitled that one character of mine to receive a small discount on all items purchased from any town's Magic Shop. It worked for a week or so. But now, my mage seems to no longer a member as no discounts are being received.

Is it different here on Renaissance and perhaps is only good for a week or a month before having to re-join?

Or perhaps:

I had two different characters transferred from my #1 account to my #3 account about two weeks ago. But my mage is on my #2 account and no characters were moved from it. Since accounts are tied to our IPA, could my transfer of characters have caused this? If so, I don't mind paying the 500 again. I just want to know if this was a bug or a hiccup.

I believe the NPC guilds don't currently give a discount, but that's likely to be fixed.

Oh my gosh...you are right. Thinking something had "hiccuped," I tried rejoing the Mage's Guild. The Guildmistress told me "You are already a member." Thus, you are absolutely right my friend, the NPC Vendors are not giving the discount. Thank you Upgrayedd.

Man, I am embarrassed. I was so sure I received a slightly lower price on things for a week or two. Sheesh, old-age is getting to be a pain in the back-side, as well as the hips, neck, and most other joints. :?

Okay, so now we know there is a bug.
Just not the bug I orriginally thought.

This is actually a known issue already. Rammar was working on fixing this system, but something in RL has pulled him away from us for a bit. The other staff is working on bigger issues currently. It should be fixed eventually though.
