In my conversations with players, we have trouble establishing a price for these books. @Keza it seems the 2 biggest concerns are how long will this event last and is there a limit to the amount of each book that will eventually be in players hands - ie not decayed unclaimed but looted and in possession by any player?
Hmmm, some of that is even out of my control. For example, of the 12 sets (312 books) I have already put into the world a total of 29 books have decayed and been lost forever. I hope that by the time 20 sets (520 books) have entered the world that I can stop adding new book. More books will be missed / not looted over time and that cannot be helped for now. Things will change a bit once I add all books and wait for turn-ins to reseed new books.
So depending on which of the 29 decayed from the first 12 sets seeded, and depending on which of the cumulative 20 sets of individual books decay, there can only be a possible maximum of probably 10-13 mystical spellbooks in existence? (just a guess really) I better get to work for real.
If you look at the item info for "Spellbook" most special hued books only have 1-15 copies. Thats the general range I am aiming for.
