You might want to be specific about what you're looking for, the price range, terrain type preference, connected buildings, cities you'd like to be close to, plus anything else. As far as fortresses go, it is a sellers market here, most Fort owners won't even waste their time replying to generic "I'd like to buy one" posts without some specifics. These things go up fairly rarely so you'll very likely have to compete heavily with others for anything not sitting on snow.
Pardon my ignorance and I'm sorry if this is hijacking a sale thread, but I have always been curious as to why ice/snow terrain is considered less valuable than grass. Is it the monster spawn potential? Proximity to noteworthy landmarks? That it's like looking into high beams when you recall to your house?
