IRC on UOR is no longer working for me, the solution is a Silverlight Flash Policy thing in which i have to alter the Listen Port number and then launch it from another executable file. Wtf happened?

The past few days, people using our flash chat, have been unable to connect to our IRC servers. This was caused by Adobe suddenly proactively blocking IRC ports 6666 to 6669. Luckily we also have port 7000 available. I have updated the flash policy daemon to use port 7000, and also updated the flash chat to use this port. If you host your own flash chat, then make sure to make it connect to port 7000 as well, or else connections might fail. More info from adobe's forum: Adobe Forum

http://www.chat4all.net/ i used this way to get into irc

no. I ususally do that before I turn computer off for the night, or right before I try to open uor-irc page. should i have it opene when I clear browser history?
Or should say when I try to connect to uor-irc, been getting that "policy page thing."

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
01-13-2017: Around january 10th this year, Adobe released Flash Player version 24.0.0.194, and with it they silently blocked IRC ports 6666, 6667, 6668 and 6669. This causes (mainly) lightirc based flash chats to display the following error message while connecting:

Flash policy problem. If you are the server owner, please read http://redmine.lightirc.com/projects/lightirc/wiki/Flash_Policy_setup_instructions. You need to install a flash policy daemon at irc.chat4all.org (port 843)

    Solution:
If you operate a website using lightirc flash chat, and you see the above mentioned error, you will need to update the "port" or "params.port" variable/setting of lightirc from 6667 to 7000. You may also have a "policyPort" variable defined, which is probably set to 843. This variable should not be changed.

    peace, out

How do I change the port my light irc gets on? I'm just a client using windows 10, edge and/or chrome browsers.
