Just out of curiosity for those of you who record your pvp videos, what programs do y'all use? I used to record with bandicam, and then edit using some Microsoft video editor, but that was back when I had Windows 7 and I can't get it to work right again.

Think Ebola uses OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). https://obsproject.com/

Myself and a few others use it as well. Pretty good recording program.

OBS is great, especially when you get "scene making" down pat.

Just please be sure you codecs are good and up to date.

I lost over 9 hours of footage along with my desire to make any more vids awhile back because of it : /

Yes open broadcast software (obs) is by far the best programthat I've used , it doesnt create any lag like bandicam does . It doesn't take much to setup the program either. Learn how to use the game capture etc settings. And for the editing software I use wondershare pro.

OBS all the way. Check out something like this () to tune OBS for video recording. You'll have to play around with the bit rates etc. The settings you use for recording do not also apply to streaming, you would have to configure those differently, but I think your purpose is recording only.

I have used Wondershare editor for the videos I have made. It was just fairly simple while I was learning, although I hear there is better out there such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, etc. Editing is the most time consuming part, but I started having a lot of fun with it.
