Taming via boat

    Hi all,
    I am using the taming guide by pulling mobs to my boat however its going very slow, the slowest part is when to kill off the creatures, do you do it when you have 8 followers or should I release and tame the same again?

    When I retame a mob it just says that wasn't a challenge, should I be gaining from these or should I kill straight after ive tamed the first time?

    Get a bad boy in the mob of animals you tame. Something like an ice troll or a snow elemantal, that doesn't cast.
    It will kill all the animals you tamed because they become blue ...

    And yes, you cannot get gains off of animals that you have already tamed and then released.
