So, I found some unlocked houses in the woods near britian..I try to steal from them and all the items I try to pick up say "Cannot take that item"..Can anyone tell me why I can't rob?
The items are probably locked down. Each house lets you lock down a certain amount of items, making them only accessible by you. Otherwise we couldn't have any public houses.
Bigger houses have more lockdowns. You can also buy extra lockdowns with platunim, but they are super expensive.
Also you could try actually going out and earning things, in lieu of trying to rip people off. I'm sure that would make you emote many more sad faces though, so I'm not sure what to recommend.
