Why do other players horses run faster than mine?

Hello Fellows
I realized more then once when having pvp that my opponents mount is way faster then mine.

Tested from different locations ip wise.

Thankful for every information.
My ping is between 200-250

You have a very high ping - that's why other people move faster than you.

Agreed. Anything over 100ms average ping and you're likely to lose a foot chase with any of the 20-50ms crowd.

I still remember Pill chasing me out of Moonglow toward the duel pits hitting me with his axe from 4 tiles behind me on my screen as we ran in a straight line.

That's called desynch Russell. Not lag.

My ping is about the same. If I only run a single client and close everything else that I can then I can get a sub 200 ping! Lucky me huh! But I haven't had any real problems keeping up with others although I may not have chased(or been chased by) by an LPB( low ping bastard) yet, oh I can't wait!

Yeah, I ping in the 60ms range most times. If you want a chase test, just hit me up sometime and we can go to an open field and run around. I guess a lot of folks have had success with lowermyping and WTFast.

I ping sub 30s. No issues to report here.

I recall running with Kali at 250ish and me with 50ish with no difference

In this case, european players have a big disadvantage. But that's life.
