I can't figure out the macros for taming, and I am bored out of my mind! My char is at 70! I will pay someone to gm my char or at least get me to 90s!
we can get a group and do a taming sesh like Gideon ran a few weeks ago, I need to make 2 more tamers anyhow.
I hated taming. I ran scorps at Compassion and animals at Ice. Placing the house/boat and using an alt to pull mobs was tedious. I thought it would be easier at bulls.. But no. Everyone there is greedy and has an alt come PK or lure snakes to your tamer so they can hog all of the bulls. I GMed taming and will probably never make another tamer. I did the dagger isle stage completely AFK. (And bulls of course too) People are going to mess with you. Just be persistent and check the macro every couple of hours.
This. I did taming mostly AFK. You'll die to griefers, it happens; just reset and get some more gains before it happens again.
i didn't find taming to be really hard to be honest. i probably spent 4 hours manually and from start-finish took 5 days. I got to enough skill to attempt WW's and went from that % to gm in about 2hours just running the para field line in Ice! Some of the macros i didn't understand very well but after a few this-will-work macros it was easy! If you need assistance pm me on irc forums. I do not have my macros anymore but can probably assist via vent/teamspeak easy enough! or. what are you willing to pay? We cannot accept money for any assistance/items in game, what in game items do u have to offer (if that is even allowed)?
What confuses me is how people say LJ was difficult. I played Hearthstone and chopped trees and it was easy as pie, plus it grants you about 250k+ from selling wood. I found taming to be the most tedious skill to raise so far in game.
I am down to try anything, but problem is, is that I cant get the macro to run correctly def operator error :/
....but you can bet your ass Moxo will be there aswell and will lure some nasties to kill you, if you even try to turn your back for 5 sec AFK pee
That made me laugh a bit. However, there really isn't much I can do to someone there unless Telamon patches it in for serpents to teleport after tamers on the ledge. There isn't really anything there that has a ranged attack.
Just have to spend a half hour luring a titan down from the north, around papua. Or aggro Rikktor and recall there.
If you think it's boring at 70, wait till 94ish that's when it moves slower than old people fuck. 70-92 was actually pretty good gains. Once you get to bulls you'll fly to 90.
