Pothead aren't your demanding the tame mask be turned over if it drops? If not I'd think the price would be higher for a slot with a chance at the mask. Are certain people of unknown integrity & honesty purchasing slots going to be required to stay at the bank? Doesn't matter if you have 0-GM taming to receive a slot. Also those that can't stay on for the entire quest and have to go afk can leave a character logged in standing on the carpet in front of the Elder and when we're finished you'll receive your slot. You must be next to the Elder and we ask that you stand on the carpet.
At this point i don't have a guild to run the quest with ("i am all alone in this world and i have no one sir!") so i could use the help from some more ppl. I'm sure i wont need more ppl not buying in just to come for the chance to get the mask. As far as reserving items goes, with the chance at the rares its hard to tell if someone gets it and doesn't say anything. I have done this quest 20+ times and two times has the masked dropped without anything been said. Every time i do the quest and don't get the mask i always have doubt and don't like it. I don't know who i can trust and who should stay at the bank and wait, so i will just let ppl go at it. iI know the box will be there so im going to give that to one of the few guys that put into filling this scroll. I almost always have a scroll or two filled waiting to be done and was thinking of starting a group or guild of ppl i can trust mainly for filling the scrolls and rolling on the items. I'll put more thought into maybe a dkp system so the more you put into the scroll the better chance you have to get the rares.
My .02, given how hard it is to track the way the rares drop, I'd just bake that into the price like Artex suggests. Although if you think about it, it is not a huge difference. 1.5M mask, with a 1/5 chance of it even being dropped on the quest and a 1/10 chance of it going to any particular individual who pays (best case) gives an expected value of 30k per slot-payer. So it's not like you could or should be charging double or something.
