Man, I saw you less and less and was worried something like this was happening. I'm not surprised at all, UO ebbs and flows, and there are always other priorities and interests. I know you'll be around so it isn't goodbye, but gonna miss seeing you around. All the best.

Gideon, You've been missed these last couple of months and will be missed in the coming ones. Personally I have learned a lot from watching you play and witnessing your success at many aspects of this game. Your written guides have been invaluable and will live on long after you depart. @Gideon Jura For what its worth, you have made a significant impact on my life, both through the game as I played as a character and after I moved over to staff. After I was burned on the shard we need not mention, it seemed borderline impossible to find anyone I could actually trust. You were one of those individuals that were able to break down that wall. Through the adventures, champ spawns, and even IDOCs, you seem to push through the entire way. There were even times of conversations we had for hours, that seem to involve everything but UO (life, kids, school, bull crap), that revitalized the concept that there are still normal trustworthy human beings out there. Despite some negative propaganda on the forums about you, it really didn't seem to matter because of how much you had helped me without expectations of ever being paid back, early on in my UO:R career. Contrary to popular belief, if you are a male in a relationship with a female, that is married, EVEN if you think you wear the pants in the relationship... you do not. She has only modified your internal programming that makes you feel like you wear the pants, and is actually the puppeteer controlling your ability to think. That and women possess certain key features that ensure manipulation of the male mind. I know this because I am married to a ragin' cajun' hard-headed brick wall, where even on my dying last breathe, she will argue me into the ground. I should really think about investing into a diamond cutting company, where she would be my main source of machinery. Anywho, Gideon will be missed.
I told Frenulum that you were leaving....and he said I was full of sh$t. We both wanted to thank you again for being a man of your word and taking all of 555's net worth and sharing it among this shard like you said you would. You are without a doubt a 100% man of your word. That is a quality that is few and far between these days and if you can do that over some pixels, I know you do that everyday. It was a pleasure spending time with you starting in beta and since my return. I wish you and your family nothing but the best sir.
